This has to be one of my favourite webpisods ever!! It sets out the life of a socially awkward black girl and her friends. It is funny in a cringe worthy way and you can’t help but be thankful for your life when seeing the situations the protagonist is faced with. It’s a bit late in coming but here are the first few episodes.
She has natural hair and the episode where she makes the big chop is hilarious and sad. For some me, short hair is a deal breaker and nothing says I love you like long flowing Asian imported hair. The star and creator, Issa Rae, sets her series in various Los Angeles areas, but the best moments take place in the main character’s office. Watch and laugh.
